Joliet, IL – Expect Traffic Delays Due to Special Olympics Torch Run

Joliet residents should anticipate traffic delays tomorrow as the Joliet Police Department participates in the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. The run is scheduled to start at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joes Park, located at Theodore St. and Kelly Ave., and will proceed through Joliet into New Lenox, ending near Gougar Rd. and W Haven Ave.

According to the Joliet Police Department, motorists should be aware of potential traffic congestion along the route and plan their travel accordingly. The Torch Run supports Special Olympics Illinois, bringing awareness and funds to the organization.
