Villa Park ATM Robbery: Police Seek Suspect After Saturday Evening

Villa Park, IL – Saturday evening witnessed a strong-armed robbery at the Bank of America located at Roosevelt and Summit in Villa Park. 

According to Villa Park police reports the incident occurred around 6 pm when a suspect attacked a victim using the ATM from behind. Described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, he was wearing a white and blue letterman jacket, dark skinny jeans, and a dark hat. 

After seizing the victim’s withdrawn cash, the suspect fled northbound. Despite a thorough search by Villa Park Police officers and a K-9 unit, the suspect remains at large. 

Local residents are advised to exercise caution at ATMs and report any suspicious activities to 911.
