Peoria, IL – In the early hours of Saturday, a serious incident unfolded in Peoria, where police discovered a man fatally shot inside a vehicle on the 2100 block of N. Gale Avenue.
The Peoria Police Department was called to the scene at around 1:25 a.m., where they found the victim with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. His identity and the exact cause of death are pending determination by the Peoria County Coroner.
The Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Patrol Unit are all involved in the investigation, which remains active with no suspects currently identified.
