Orland Park, IL – Firefighter Injured During Training Exercise

Orland Park, IL – An Orland Park firefighter was seriously injured during a routine training session. Firefighter Moe Razek fell from a ladder while exiting a second-floor window at the Orland Fire Protection District facility, resulting in multiple severe injuries. 

These injuries necessitated surgery and extensive ongoing medical treatment. In response to this incident, The Yard Foundation has partnered with the Orland Professional Firefighters to support Razek and his family during his recovery.

According to the Associated Fire Fighters of Illinois, the accident occurred as Razek was participating in a standard training exercise. The local community and fellow firefighters are rallying to provide necessary support through fundraising efforts.
