Natural Gas Leak Causes Unexpected Road Closure in Mokena

MOKENA, Ill. — A sudden natural gas leak has led to an emergency road closure at the intersection of 191st and 104th Avenue around noon on Saturday. 

Mokena police are urging residents to steer clear of the area as emergency service workers are actively managing the scene to ensure public safety. 

No estimated time frame was given for repairs. Residents are thanked for their cooperation and patience during this time.
