Madison County, IL – Travelers on I-55/70 through Madison County face significant delays today as emergency bridge deck patching commences just north of the IL 111 Fairmont City/Pontoon Beach exit.
The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that starting at 6:30 a.m., two left northbound lanes will be closed for repairs over the A & S Railroad. While entrance and exit ramps will remain accessible, the affected lanes are expected to reopen by 8 p.m.
