Lombard, IL – The planned ramp closure on I-355 at Roosevelt Road in Lombard has been postponed due to permitting issues, local officials announced.
Originally scheduled to occur from Friday, May 10, at 7 PM to Sunday, May 12, at 5 PM, the closure was intended for maintenance activities but is now delayed, awaiting further permissions. Motorists were advised to use alternate routes such as Butterfield Road or North Avenue during the closure period.
The Village of Lombard stated it would provide more details as they receive updates from the Illinois Toll Highway Authority.
