Find Serenity Amid the Scenery: Women’s Stress-Free Hike in Channahon

CHANNAHON, IL – This holiday season, the Forest Preserve District of Will County offers a tranquil escape from the festive frenzy with a series of enriching outdoor programs. 

Kicking off the events is the “Stress-Free Hike for Women,” scheduled for Saturday, November 25, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon. Participants will indulge in a revitalizing 2-mile fitness walk, surrounded by the natural beauty of the season. 

The calming excursion concludes with warm beverages and serene views of the Des Plaines River. This rejuvenating experience is complimentary for women aged 16 and over. Interested hikers are encouraged to secure their spot by November 24 through the ReconnectWithNature.org event calendar.
