Crest Hill, IL – Fatal Night on Route 30: Vehicle Strikes Three, Flees Scene

Crest Hill, IL – A somber scene unfolded on Route 30, known as Plainfield Road, between Caton Farm and Larkin, when a vehicle struck three pedestrians at approximately 11 pm last night. 

Witnesses report a chilling hit-and-run incident that left at least one individual dead at the scene and two others in uncertain conditions. The driver responsible for the devastating event fled, prompting an intensive search by local authorities.
