Schaumburg, IL – The Schaumburg Police Department has partnered with local Dunkin’ locations for a creative fundraising event this Friday, aimed at supporting the Special Olympics Illinois.

Community members are encouraged to visit participating Dunkin’ stores at 1440 N. Meacham Rd. and 477 W. Golf Rd. between 5 a.m. and noon. Donors contributing $10 or more will receive a limited edition travel mug and a coupon for a medium hot coffee, while all donors will get a coupon for a free donut.

This event is part of the annual Cop on a Rooftop initiative, which has officers perched on the store’s rooftops to raise awareness and funds for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
