Urbana Police Save Shooting Victim; Suspect in Custody on Attempted Murder Charges

URBANA, IL — Urbana Police officers provided crucial on-site aid to a shooting victim on S. Lierman Ave. Tuesday. 

According to police reports officers’ prompt response and medical assistance helped save the life of a 52-year-old man, now recovering post-surgery. 

Later that evening, the alleged assailant, Antwon Bush, 50, was arrested, with charges of attempted murder pending. 

The investigation remains ongoing, with the police urging witnesses to come forward, ensuring anonymity and possible rewards for valuable information.
