USPS Worker finds gun on delivery route in Kankakee

KANKAKEE – A postal employee was delivered more than they expected Tuesday. 

According to Kankakee Police, officers were called to the 200 block of South Entrance where a USPS employee had found a Taurus G3 9mm gun near a dumpster. 

After taking the weapon into custody, police later learned it had been reported stolen.
