Man Crashes Car into Home, flees scene on Chicago’s Lower West Side

CHICAGO, Ill. – A man crashed his Chevy station wagon into a home on the Lower West Side of Chicago on Sunday night after striking another car head-on. The driver fled the scene in an unknown direction after the accident.

The incident took place on Paulina Avenue, where the driver was traveling northbound and struck another car head-on. He then drove into the front window of a home, causing extensive damage. Fortunately, no one inside the house was reportedly injured.

A 26-year-old woman driving the other vehicle was transported to Stroger Hospital and is reported to be in good condition.

As of now, the police have not made any arrests in connection with the accident. An investigation is currently underway.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time, and it is unclear whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Chicago Police Department are urging anyone with information about the accident to contact them immediately.
