KANKAKEE – The Kankakee Valley Park District will honor active military personnel,
veterans and first responders at the Bird Park Administrative Office at 893 W. Station St. in Kankakee with the lighting of the Tree of Honor on Tuesday, December 7 at 6:00 pm.
Special guest speakers include KVPD Board President Ray Eads, Pastor James Smith, and the Momence Honor Guard. Warm up after the ceremony with a hot cocoa bar inside.
