Huge PPE donation for Joliet Fire Department by local schools

Fire Fighters in Joliet are sending a huge thanks to officials at Joliet West and Joliet Central and Joliet Township High Schools on Thursday.

It comes after the Department received a huge unexpected donation from the schools Science Departments, including donations of protective gloves.

“JFD sends a huge thank you,” the Department said on Thursday, “Your Generosity does not go unnoticed.”

Will County has been one of the highest reported case counts of COVID-19 in the State.  On Thursday, nearly 400 positive cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed with 9 dead from the pandemic.
