
Willowbrook, IL – Willowbrook Police teamed up with the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group section of the Illinois State Police to crack down on alleged prostitution activities in the local area.
According to Willowbrook Police Department reports the investigation, initiated in response to numerous anonymous tips pointing to illicit online ads for local hotels, led to a dramatic showdown at the LaQuinta Inn on 79th Street last Thursday.
After thorough investigative work, officers apprehended five individuals on allegations of Class A misdemeanor Prostitution. The suspects include Nakia D. Harris (23), Kemia C. Pugh (24), Michele Eck (38), Alexis Carrasco (33), and Jadzia K. McNeal (22). All were processed and subsequently released pending their day in court.
The offenses carry a maximum penalty of 364 days in county jail along with a hefty $1,500 fine. It’s crucial to remember that these are merely charges, and the accused remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
