Chicago Woman Arrested after calling 9-1-1, Pulling Gun in Illinois Crowded Mall

AURORA, IL – A woman who claimed to be a victim of a crime was arrested after allegedly pulling out a gun at the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall on Saturday, May 13th. 

According to Aurora Police, Shamiracle Lee, a 26-year-old resident of Chicago, called 9-1-1 to report the crime and later pulled out her gun, causing panic among mall-goers who quickly hid in stores or fled the area. 

Fortunately, no shots were fired and the situation was resolved by police. 

Lee has been charged with Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Violation of Concealed Carry Act, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
