Illinois Department of Public Health officials announced this afternoon COVID-19 cases topped 30,000 today, announcing 1,197 new COVID-19 cases and 33 new deaths.
That brings State totals to 30,357 total cases in Illinois with 1,290 deaths since the pandemic began.
