Will County Health Department officials announced this afternoon 35 lives have been claimed to date by COVID-19. The County now hosts 942 total confirmed cases, with Joliet leading the way with 190 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Among town case counts in the County, notable numbers include:
- 190 cases in Joliet
- 126 cases in Bolingbrook
- 96 cases in Unincorporated areas
- 59 cases in Crest Hill
- 50 cases in Romeoville
- 38 cases in Plainfield
- 32 cases in Homer Glen
- 31 cases in Naperville and Frankfort
- 30 cases in Lockport
- 25 cases in University Park
- 24 cases in Shorewood
- 20 cases in New Lenox
All other areas in the county currently fall below 20 cases as of April 8th.
