COVID-19: 283 cases, 1 new death announced in Kankakee County

Kankakee County Health Department officials announced four new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.  Among them included men and women ranging in age from 30 years old to over 50.

One new death was reported by the Health Department for the area today, bringing County death totals to 19. Over 59 cases had recovered as of Friday, but case recovery has risen to 20% overall since the pandemic began.
