Los Angeles, CA – Man Charged, Held on $2 Million Bond for Attempted Murder of LA Metro Bus Driver

Los Angeles, CA – A California man has been charged and is currently being held on a $2 million bond following the alleged attempted murder of a Los Angeles County Metro bus driver earlier this month. 

According to investigators the incident occurred during the early afternoon of April 13, 2024, at the intersection of 119th Street and Wilmington Avenue in Los Angeles, 30-year-old Darnell Marshon Bray was arrested on Wednesday by detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Transit Services Bureau and deputies from the Special Assignment Unit. 

Bray, who is scheduled for arraignment on Friday at the Compton Courthouse, faces charges of attempted murder. Captain Shawn R. Kehoe of the Transit Services Bureau commended the quick and effective response of the officers involved in the case. The Sheriff’s Department continues to seek information from the public regarding the incident to aid their ongoing investigation.
