Dinosaur Invasion Alert: Illinois City Downtown Transforms into Prehistoric Playground

WHEATON, Ill. – Dinosaur enthusiasts, brace yourselves! Downtown Wheaton has been taken over by life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. From September 25 to October 8, 2023, the Dinos Downtown Wheaton exhibit will feature 10 gigantic dinos scattered throughout, with Wheaton Public Library boasting three incredible species including the Herrerasaurus, Oviraptor, and the majestic Triceratops.

This prehistoric display doesn’t end with the dinos. Local businesses have hopped on the dino-wagon, offering themed specials and activities. TeamUp Coworking, Rotary AM & Noon Rotary of Wheaton, and other local sponsors proudly back this exhibit.

Looking to delve deeper into the world of these ancient beasts? Sign up for a walking tour led by real-life paleontologist, Paleo Joe. Dive into the world of dinosaurs as he shares his thrilling dig adventures from Montana to Utah.
