Bourbonnais: Dinosaur and Prehistoric Animal Program This September

Bourbonnais, IL – Families and history enthusiasts have the chance to explore the prehistoric world during an upcoming educational event. The program, titled Dinosaur and Animals of the Mesozoic Era, is scheduled for September 21, 2026.

According to the Bourbonnais Township Park District, the event will take place at the Exploration Station from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Attendees of all ages are invited to participate in a deep dive into the lives of creatures that roamed the Earth millions of years ago.

The presentation covers several key topics, including a study of fossils, the details surrounding the mass extinction event, and the eventual rise of mammals. Participants can register for the session at a cost of $5 by visiting the provided website.
