Arkansas Duo Charged After Woman’s Body Found in Farm Field

Marianna, AR – A Marianna pair have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of a Lexa woman.

According to the Arkansas State Police’s Criminal Investigation Division, Dodge Pinegar, 24, and Shadee Edgin, 30, were arrested on Friday in connection with the death of Ashley Monroe, 30. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office requested the ASP to investigate the homicide on May 21.

Monroe’s body was discovered by a local farmer on a farm field road off Lee County Road 706, north of Marianna. The investigation is ongoing.
