Arizona Manhunt Intensifies for Suspect in Florence Homicide

Florence, AZ – The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office has escalated their search for 49-year-old Javier Lopez in connection with a recent homicide outside of Florence. Lopez was last observed driving a 2003 silver Nissan Sentra in the Phoenix/Tempe area. 

According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, the homicide occurred on April 11, 2024. Lopez’s last known location was captured on April 11th, and officials are asking for the public’s assistance. Authorities have warned the public that he may be armed and dangerous and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact law enforcement immediately. 

The community is reminded to exercise caution and report any sightings to the authorities, refraining from direct confrontation.
