Tallahassee, FL – Rain and thunderstorms are set to impact the Tallahassee area this weekend, potentially disrupting outdoor plans and travel. Drivers along I-10 and Highway 27 should prepare for wet conditions and reduced visibility.

According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers could begin late Saturday night, with a 100% chance of thunderstorms early Sunday before tapering off. Heavy rain and gusty winds may make roads slick, so caution is advised. Highs will reach 75°F Sunday before temperatures drop to the low 40s overnight.

By Monday, skies clear, bringing sunny and cooler conditions for Presidents Day, with a high near 60°F. This will be a brief break before more rain moves in Tuesday night into Wednesday. Showers could be heavy at times midweek, with highs around 61°F and lows dipping into the 40s.

Residents should stay weather-aware and monitor forecasts for updates, especially if traveling or planning outdoor events. With fluctuating conditions, it’s best to have rain gear on hand and be mindful of changing road conditions throughout the week.
