Fargo, ND – A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota from 6 PM Wednesday to 3 PM CST Thursday, bringing snow and blowing snow.
According to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, areas including Grand Forks, Fargo, Moorhead, and Crookston will receive 1 to 3 inches of snow, with wind gusts up to 45 mph creating near-whiteout conditions in open areas.
Travel will be hazardous, especially during the Thursday morning commute, as visibility may drop to 1/4 mile at times. Motorists should slow down, use caution, and check 511 for road updates.
