Houston, TX – Drivers across Houston should remain cautious as patchy fog continues to impact visibility through Thursday morning. Morning commutes along major roadways, including I-45 and I-10, may experience delays as dense fog reduces visibility to less than a quarter-mile in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog will persist before 11 a.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday. The most significant visibility reductions are expected in low-lying areas, near bodies of water, and along highways. Motorists are advised to use low-beam headlights, slow down, and allow extra travel time.
Five-Day Houston Forecast

Sunday: A 40% chance of showers moves in, bringing partly cloudy skies and a high near 77°F. Overnight temperatures will drop to the mid-50s as cooler air arrives.
While visibility concerns will fade after Thursday morning, drivers should remain alert to changing weather conditions throughout the week. Warmer temperatures and potential rain by Sunday could impact weekend plans.
