Philadelphia, PA – Snow and sleet will impact the region Sunday night, creating slippery road conditions for travelers.
According to the National Weather Service in Philadelphia/Mount Holly, wintry precipitation will continue for 4-8 hours before tapering off after midnight. Minor snow accumulations of up to an inch are expected south of I-78, with some areas north of I-78 seeing up to two inches.
Drivers should use caution, as icy patches could develop on untreated roads. Officials urge travelers to allow extra time for commutes and take necessary precautions.
After midnight, skies will clear, leading to cold temperatures overnight. Lows will drop into the 20s across much of the region.
