Little Rock, AR – Drivers and early risers in Arkansas should prepare for dense fog and lingering flood risks through the weekend. Warmer temperatures will return, but morning fog could impact visibility, especially in areas hit by heavy rain.
According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, fog will be widespread Friday night into Saturday morning, with some areas seeing visibility drop below a quarter-mile. Drivers should exercise caution, especially along low-lying roads where standing water remains.
Saturday will bring patchy morning fog, then sunshine with highs around 60°F. Winds will be light but shift southeast later in the day. Sunday looks warmer, with highs near 69°F and mostly sunny skies.
Flooding remains a concern as rivers process excess rainfall from earlier in the week. Some roads near waterways could still have high water. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around—don’t drive through.
Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s. Rain chances return midweek, with potential showers and storms by Wednesday night.
