Harrisburg, PA – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Sunday, warning of 4-6 inches of snow. The storm is expected to impact central Pennsylvania, including Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Gettysburg.
According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will begin early Sunday morning and persist into the evening. The Lower Susquehanna Valley and Western Poconos are expected to receive the heaviest accumulation. Roads, bridges, and overpasses could become slick as temperatures drop into the 20s later in the day.
Residents should prepare for hazardous travel conditions. The snowstorm could disrupt roadways and impact travel plans. A small shift in the storm’s track may alter snowfall totals, so staying informed is critical.
