Traffic Alert: I-71 Shut Down in Ohio Following Crash, Drivers Urged to Avoid Area

Franklin County, OH – A crash in Franklin County has forced several closures on I-71 near Greenlawn Avenue, impacting commuters Friday morning. Authorities confirmed that all lanes on I-71 South at Greenlawn Avenue are closed.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office also reported closures on key ramps. The ramp from I-70 East to I-71 South and the ramp from I-70 West to I-71 South remain shut down. Emergency crews are on-site to manage the situation.

Drivers traveling through the area should plan alternate routes to avoid delays. Officials urge drivers to follow posted detours and watch for emergency personnel in the area.
