Melbourne, FL – Rain and gusty winds will disrupt travel along US-1 and surrounding roads Wednesday afternoon as a cold front approaches.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected by mid-afternoon, with winds reaching 20 mph. Overnight, temperatures will drop significantly, with lows in the 40s by Thursday night.

The weekend will bring sunny, dry conditions, but daytime highs will remain cooler than average, peaking in the 60s to low 70s.
