Michigan – Southeast Michigan residents can look forward to a milder and mostly dry weekend, with temperatures climbing above seasonal norms. The National Weather Service in Detroit reports that highs will reach the lower 50s on Saturday and warm further into the upper 50s by Sunday, offering relief from typical mid-November chills. Expect mostly cloudy skies today and Sunday, with a brief spell of partial sunshine on Saturday.

According to the NWS, today’s high will reach about 53°F, with patchy morning fog that could impact early travel on local roads. Drivers are advised to proceed cautiously, especially in low-visibility areas. Northwest winds of 5 to 8 mph will keep things brisk through the day. By tonight, temperatures will dip to 41°F, with mostly cloudy skies lingering over the area.

Saturday will bring partly sunny skies in the afternoon, with light southwest winds and a high near 52°F. The evening will see temperatures fall to around 42°F under mostly cloudy skies. Sunday’s forecast includes highs in the mid-to-upper 50s, but skies will become cloudy once again, marking the start of a cooler weather pattern heading into next week.

Looking further ahead, Monday promises a high near 56°F and mostly sunny skies, though there’s a chance of showers by nightfall. Tuesday will likely see rain showers, and temperatures may reach a high of 57°F, a trend that will continue through mid-week with cooler, wetter conditions anticipated.

Stay updated on weather changes if planning outdoor activities this weekend. Follow road safety guidelines during foggy conditions, especially in early morning hours.
