Paducah, KY – Western Kentucky and eastern Missouri will see warm, sunny weather through midweek, but a cold front moving in late Thursday will bring a chance of showers and cooler temperatures to the region by Friday. Highs in the upper 70s and low 80s are expected through Wednesday, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), today’s high in Paducah will reach 79 degrees under sunny skies. Winds will remain calm through Tuesday, with highs near 82 degrees. On Wednesday, temperatures will peak at 84 before the cold front begins to move in. Thursday will still be warm with a high of 77, but the front will bring cooler air, dropping overnight lows into the mid-50s.

Rain chances will increase late Thursday night into Friday, with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible, especially across southeast Missouri and southwest Indiana. The best chance for showers will come Friday, with highs in the low 80s before cooler, fall-like temperatures return over the weekend.

Residents in both Kentucky and Missouri should prepare for the change in weather by the end of the week and stay updated with the NWS for any potential thunderstorm development. Expect dry and sunny conditions through Wednesday, but have umbrellas ready as rain could impact outdoor plans starting Friday.
