Omaha, NE – Rain and thunderstorms are expected to hit Omaha and south-central Nebraska Monday and Monday night. The National Weather Service has indicated a marginal risk for severe storms in this area.

According to the National Weather Service in Omaha, rainfall chances are between 40% and 75%, with storms likely spreading east. Rain totals are forecast to be between 0.10 to 0.40 inches. Monday’s high temperatures will range from 76 to 82 degrees, with lows dropping to 49 to 55 degrees overnight.

The outlook improves by Tuesday, with clear skies and highs between 75 and 81 degrees. Areas in southeast Nebraska, including Lincoln and Omaha, may see a significant amount of rain, especially during the afternoon.
