A slight chance of light rain will develop Tuesday morning, primarily west of I-55, but rainfall amounts are expected to be minimal. By Wednesday, the temperature will cool slightly, with highs near 73 degrees and mostly sunny skies. Overnight, lows will drop to around 39 degrees, signaling a cooler stretch as October continues.
