Des Moines, IA – Warm fall weather will continue across Des Moines and much of Iowa through the first half of next week. Temperatures will remain above normal, ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s during the day.

According to the National Weather Service in Des Moines, Sunday and Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs between 76 and 83 degrees. Conditions remain dry, with elevated fire danger due to breezy winds and dry air. However, increasing clouds will move in by Monday, with a chance of light showers in southern Iowa late in the day into Monday night.

Despite these possible showers, the forecast calls for plenty of sunshine, offering residents a pleasant fall outlook.
