Des Moines, IA – A freeze watch has been issued for all of Central Iowa from late Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. Temperatures could drop as low as 27 degrees, posing a risk to sensitive plants and crops.
The National Weather Service warns that frost and freeze conditions could damage unprotected outdoor plumbing and kill crops. Residents are encouraged to bring potted plants inside or cover them overnight.
