
Kankakee, IL – Kankakee resident Matt Mullady has been inducted into the Illinois Outdoor Hall of Fame for his lifelong contributions to outdoor education and conservation. Mullady, an expert on the Kankakee River, has spent decades sharing his passion for the outdoors with the community.
According to the Illinois Conservation Foundation, Mullady’s work includes leading youth hunting programs, advocating for river conservation, and promoting sustainable fishing practices. His service on the Kankakee Valley Park District board has further solidified his commitment to local environmental efforts.
Mullady has also made a lasting impact by guiding fishing trips and teaching “leave no trace” principles. He regularly donates his time and resources to youth programs, fostering the next generation of conservationists. Mullady’s dedication has inspired countless individuals to appreciate and protect Illinois’ natural beauty. His induction will take place during the ICF Gala in Spring 2025.
