Humble, TX – Overnight, the Bomb Unit responded to a potential threat at the Humble Police Department after a man claimed his trailer contained an explosive. The man, reportedly experiencing a mental health crisis, drove up to the station and warned officers about the possible explosive in his trailer.
According to Harris County Sheriff’s Office, authorities immediately cordoned off the area and conducted a thorough inspection of the trailer. Emergency personnel, including Humble Fire Rescue, ensured the scene was secure while bomb squad officers inspected the suspicious item.
No hazardous materials or explosives were found, and the area has since reopened. Law enforcement expressed gratitude to Humble Fire Rescue for their quick response and assistance in managing the situation.
