The heat index could soar to as high as 105 degrees, making outdoor activities dangerous.
According to the NWS, temperatures today will peak at 93 degrees, with similar conditions expected throughout the week. Monday through Thursday will see highs ranging from 95 to 98 degrees. While Thursday may bring some relief with a partly cloudy sky, temperatures will still hover around 96 degrees.
