Naperville, IL – A 26-year-old man was shot Thursday afternoon on Inland Circle in Naperville, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred around 1:36 p.m. in the 700 block, where officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, police discovered the victim with an apparent gunshot wound. Naperville Fire Department personnel swiftly transported him to a local hospital. His condition remains unknown at this time.

According to the Naperville Police Department, the preliminary investigation suggests that the victim and the offender knew each other.
