Bourbonnais Hosts “Tip-A-Cop” Event on August 19 to Support Special Olympics Illinois

Bourbonnais, IL – The Bourbonnais Police Department invites the community to participate in the “Tip-A-Cop” event on Monday, August 19, at Texas Roadhouse, located at 1290 N Kinzie Avenue in Bradley, IL. Running from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., this special event is part of the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, aiming to raise funds for Special Olympics Illinois.

During the event, local law enforcement officers will step into the role of servers, collecting tips that will be directly donated to support athletes in the Special Olympics Illinois. The officers encourage attendees to bring their appetites and generosity to help make a difference in the lives of these athletes. According to the Bourbonnais Police Department, every dollar collected through tips will contribute to the success of the athletes and the programs offered by Special Olympics Illinois.
