Philadelphia, PA – Humid weather is set to blanket Philadelphia and surrounding areas today, with temperatures climbing to the low 80s. The National Weather Service in Mount Holly reports that while today’s conditions will be partly to mostly sunny, humidity will be a noticeable factor throughout the day, keeping the air feeling warmer and more oppressive.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature is expected to peak around 83°F in Philadelphia, while overnight lows will drop to a cooler 63°F. This stretch of warm weather will continue into Wednesday and Thursday, with highs expected to rise even further, reaching 85°F and 87°F, respectively.

However, a change in weather patterns is anticipated as we approach the weekend. The forecast predicts increasing chances of storms on Saturday, with rain expected to move in by the afternoon. These storms could potentially disrupt late-summer outdoor activities and events, as there is a 45% chance of rain on Saturday, increasing to 55% on Sunday.

Residents are advised to keep an eye on the evolving forecast, especially those with weekend plans, as storms may cause sudden changes in weather conditions.
