This initial wave will affect cities including Boston, Cambridge, and Hartford.
According to the National Weather Service, a second round of showers and thunderstorms is anticipated late tonight and overnight, particularly south of the Massachusetts Turnpike. Forecasts indicate a 60-70% chance of precipitation throughout the day, with percentages rising to 75-85% overnight. Temperatures in Boston will hover between 65°F and 78°F today.
The stormy weather will continue into Wednesday, with an 80% chance of rain and temperatures ranging from 62°F to 71°F. Thursday is expected to bring some relief with partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 60°F and 76°F. However, the wet weather returns on Friday and Saturday, with rain chances at 70% and 65% respectively.
