Marquette, MI – Residents of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula can anticipate a shift in the weather this weekend, as cooler temperatures and rain are expected to bring relief from the current heatwave.

According to the US National Weather Service in Marquette, Friday will be hot and sunny, with temperatures ranging between 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Residents are advised to stay hydrated if spending time outdoors.

Saturday’s forecast indicates mostly sunny and dry conditions, with a high chance of late afternoon showers. Temperatures are expected to be more moderate, ranging from 77 to 87 degrees.

Sunday brings a significant change, with cooler temperatures and a higher likelihood of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will range from 73 to 81 degrees, providing a much-needed break from the heat.

The trend continues into Monday, with a slight chance of showers and temperatures cooling further to between 70 and 76 degrees.

Looking further ahead, Tuesday may see more rain, with a 35% chance of showers and highs around 69 degrees. Wednesday promises clearer skies and slightly warmer conditions, reaching up to 74 degrees. By Thursday, the chance of rain increases to 55%, with temperatures hovering around 72 degrees.
