Omaha, NE – Dense fog will envelop northeast Nebraska this morning, reducing visibility significantly. The National Weather Service Omaha/Valley advises motorists to exercise caution, turn on low-beam lights, and drive slowly. The fog is expected to lift by 9-10 a.m.

According to the National Weather Service, clear conditions will dominate the rest of the day with temperatures rising to a high of 92°F by the afternoon. Wind gusts up to 10 mph will provide a slight breeze, but not enough to significantly impact outdoor activities.

The extended forecast for Omaha and the surrounding areas shows a consistent pattern of sunny skies and warm temperatures. Friday and Saturday will continue with highs of 92°F and 90°F, respectively. Sunday’s forecast indicates a partly cloudy sky with temperatures again reaching 92°F.

Looking into next week, the heat intensifies. Monday and Tuesday will see highs of 93°F and 94°F, while Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach a scorching 98°F. Despite the high temperatures, no precipitation is forecast, making it essential for residents to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related illnesses.
