Detroit Child Abduction: 1-Year-Old Found Safe, Suspects at Large

Detroit, MI – A one-year-old girl abducted on Saturday night has been found safe, but the suspects involved in the incident remain at large. The incident occurred at approximately 10:09 p.m. in the area of Compass and Littlefield.

According to the Detroit Police Department, an adult male was with a female and the one-year-old child when four male suspects approached in a newer model gray Dodge Durango, bearing Michigan license plate EAD 187. The suspects fired multiple shots, striking the male victim fatally. The suspects then took the child and fled the scene.

The police updated the public three hours later, confirming that the child had been found safe. The vehicle and suspects are still being sought.
