Rensselaer, IN – Residents of Rensselaer are encouraged to support their local firefighters today as they conduct their annual “Fill the Boot” drive. This morning, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Rensselaer Volunteer Fire Department will be stationed at three locations along State Road 231: the north side, center, and south side of the city.
According to the Rensselaer Volunteer Fire Department, the funds collected during this event will be used for expenses related to equipment, training, and fire prevention efforts.
